Although the decision was made to terminate the FIS Worldloppet Cup, the Koenig-Ludwig-Lauf (KLL) will remain a fixed part of the FIS rating system.
Every participant of the KLL 50km competition in classic style will automatically attend the corresponding FIS Rating.
The regulations published on FIS webpage apply for KLL. Every participant who registered for 50km CL with an active FIS code will get the FIS points in line with the published regulations.
Prize money and awards
KLL guarantees that a minimum prize money of a total of 20.000 Euro will be awarded in accordance with the below table to the six best-placed participants in both women's and men's races over a distance of 50km CL.
Competitors without an active FIS code can also win the prize money and get awarded accordingly.
Responsibilities of Participants
All eligible winners are required to attend the official award ceremony. Visible wearing of the start bip is mandatory.
All participants must comply with all rules of the IWO and the rules of each event.
Starting 10 days prior to the event there’s no chance to change into the first starting block.
Members of a cadre must provide proof of cadre membership during the registration process. In order to be credited with FIS points, the active FIS code must be provided at registration. It may happen that certain starting blocks are fully booked. In this case you will be assigned to the next free starting block.
The starting block classification is based on the rules established by the FIS, and a selection of the best racers, taking into account results from previous years and comparable races.
